COVID-19 Updates

Westway Childrens Clinic is committed to keeping your child and family and our staff and community safe during this crisis.

Westway Childrens Clinic is committed to keeping your child and family and our staff and community safe during this crisis.

We are now booking needles for the following ages:

(2 month, 4 month, 6 month, 12 month, 15 month, 18 month). Please call our clinic or book online for these needle appointments.

To protect our patients and their families and our staff from the community spread of Covid (remember many people with Covid are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms) we are limiting people who are coming to the clinic to one parent and one child with no siblings. Please wear a mask or face covering (bandana or scarf, etc.), and also provide one for your child. This is very important to adhere to!

Due to safety and physical distancing Westway Children’s Clinic will not have an in clinic waiting room.

There will be only one patient in the clinic at a time. Please remain in your car/outside at your appointment time and call the clinic to let us know you have arrived. As soon as possible, we will direct you as to when you can come into the clinic.

Please bring only your child – do not bring diaper bags or car seats.

Please only have one parent and one child ( no siblings) in your car when you come to the clinic. The pediatrician will not discuss your child’s progress during their Needle visit.

Please book a separate telemedicine visit so we can safely discuss your child’s development, feeding or any other concerns you have.

Our pediatricians are available for same day telemedicine appointments to assess your sick child or for any other medical concerns. Please call our clinic or book these telemedicine appointments online.

If your child or you as a caregiver have any cough, runny nose, fever, congestion, vomiting or diarrhea, or you or your child have had a recent travel history, or you or your child have been in contact with anyone with recent travel history or covid symptoms or diagnosis, you or your child cannot enter Westway Children’s Clinic or make a needle appointment.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. Our top priority is to continue to deliver excellent health care for your child’s needs while keeping your child, your family, our staff and community safe.
